 Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to speak to you today about a topic that touches the very core of our human experience: disgrace. We've all faced moments of disgrace in our lives – those moments when our mistakes or circumstances have been exposed to the world, leaving us vulnerable and humiliated. But today, I want to assure you that there is hope. There is a promise of grace, a promise that God will take away your public disgrace.

In this verse, we find a young woman named Mary who faced disgrace as she was unexpectedly chosen by God to bear His Son.
